A Couple Quick Doses Of Medical News

If you know the metal band Disturbed at all, you're probably familiar with their most famous song, "Down with the Sickness." Not personally my favorite song of theirs, but it is very well known. Anyway, the band recently had to cancel a show in Iowa because their lead singer, David Draiman, contracted a bout of laryngitis. Kind of hard to sing without your voice. Naturally, the local media couldn't resist the obvious headline: "‘Disturbed’ show postponed after singer comes down with a sickness."

Yeah, I would have done the same thing.

However, I would very much resist doing business with Rizz Pharma, an online direct-to-consumer medical prescription retailer and the Ultimate Fighting Championship's new official erectile dysfunction and hair loss medication partner. For those of you not chronically online, "Rizz" is Internet slang for charisma, and it's a fairly recent development, popularized in 2021. Which makes the fact that there's already a company called Rizz Pharma incredibly suspect. Oh, and they're selling ED and hair loss medications, two conditions notorious for being ... let's say, vulnerable to cures of questionable efficacy.

I'm not saying Rizz Pharma is a scam, but if we hear about their CEO absconding with millions of other people's money in 5 years or so, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.
